Royal endorsement for British company Goldgenie

After several years of attempting to find a suitor for the International Master Franchise for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Goldgenie have finally found the perfect partner in a member of the Saudi Royal Family.  A Saudi Prince has signed an agreement with luxury brand Goldgenie making him the Exclusive Master Franchise holder for Saudi Arabia.

Since the Luxury customisation brand had entered the global Franchising business over 10 years ago they had decided to retain one of the most successful regions to themselves, having received well over 200 enquiries over the past decade and having several interviews and meetings, the Prince was selected as the brands franchise partner due to the uncompromising standards that are shared with the Luxury brand who’s sales banner states “Luxury gifts for the ungiftable” quite a suitable and appropriate statement for a Royal. This is a great tribute for Goldgenie brand to be advocated by such an internationally renowned family.

The investment was assessed by a team of Royal advisors who conducted their own due diligence on behalf of the Prince and once satisfied was given the green light to make the investment and to formally take Goldgenie to Saudi Arabia, the advisors believed that the brand position and its dominance in the luxury market was a good fit with the clients of the Royal family and their investment requirements.

It is no coincidence that the Prince has secured this franchise at this specific time but it may have had something to do with the exponential growth as a diverse luxury brand demonstrated by the opening of their second luxury store in the centre Dubai.

Laban Roomes opens North London Emporium

Small businesses have been given the chance to set up their own trading space at a ‘pop-up emporium’ launch.

Business group Enterprise Enfield has opened the ‘Pop Up Emporium’ in Savoy Parade, Southbury Road in Enfield.

The scheme will give small, independent businesses, who don’t have their own premises, to sell their goods for the next two months.

The first day of trading was opened by Enfield entrepreneur Laban Roomes, known for winning investment on BBC’s Dragon’s Den for his gold-plating business Goldgenie.

“This is how I started as well and it gives the high street and traders a real boost to see Enterprise Enfield making the most of an empty shopping space.

“Nobody likes to see an empty shop window and now these businesses will get the chance to show everyone their amazing products.”

Councillor Del Goddard, cabinet member for business and regeneration, said: “The council believes that helping out small businesses in the town centre is very important and we want to make sure that there are fewer empty shops in the borough.”
