Goldgenie Unveils the Limited-Edition 24K Gold PS5, at £9,997

A PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Edition, plated in pure 24k gold, delivered free worldwide in time for Christmas

DUBAI and LONDON, 23 October 2026 — Goldgenie, the luxury customisation house, has released a limited-edition 24K Gold PS5: a Sony PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Edition with its console housing and controller plated in pure 24k gold by Goldgenie. It is priced at £9,997 and is available to order now at goldgenie.com.

Plated, not covered

Goldgenie plates the PlayStation 5’s own outer housing, and its controller, in pure 24k gold. These are not add-on covers or wraps: the gold is applied to the console’s original housing. Every console comes with a Goldgenie certificate of authenticity confirming the genuine gold used.

A limited edition

The edition is made only for the current PS5 Slim Disc model. When Sony changes the model, this edition closes. It is not sold by Sony or PlayStation and is available only from Goldgenie.

Specification

The console is a PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Edition with a 1TB SSD and 16GB memory. It has an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and supports 4K gaming and up to 120Hz output on compatible games and displays, as well as ray tracing, HDR and 3D Audio. It is backward compatible with many PS4 games.

Ordering and delivery

Delivery is free worldwide by DHL within 14 days, with tracking shared on dispatch. Orders placed by 5 December arrive in time for Christmas. Customers can pay in full by card, bank transfer or cryptocurrency, or secure a console with a 50% card deposit. Every Goldgenie product carries a lifetime warranty.

Goldgenie and the PlayStation

Goldgenie first offered a 24k gold PlayStation 5 in December 2020, the year the console launched.
